It’s happened again hasn’t it

I saw the Z900 RS and I thought it looked the mutt’s

And they’ve done a new colour for 2020 haven’t they?

And I read loads of reviews on the internet like you do

And I watched loads of videos about it on YouTube you see

And I went to have a ride on one this avo with wifey

And it was bloody great wasn’t it?

And they’d got one in stock as it happens

So I signed up didn’t I?

I’m picking it up on Friday :D

This probably wouldn't bother anybody in the world other than me.

The gap between the top of the back tyre and the underside of the seat is massive and drags my eyes away from the rest of a nice looking bike. Years ago this exact eyesore stopped me buying a new Ducati GT1000 Sports Classic.

See what I mean ?? (Ignore me, enjoy your new bike...:thumb2)

That Ducati was probably the best handling bike I have ever ridden. That Kwacker looks lovely. Enjoy.

And if that gap hadn’t bothered you, you’d be sitting on a very collectible bike today.....:doris

Enjoy the new Z.....very nice. :beerjug:

Well chuffed for yer; they are fantastic bikes; and with both of you lovin it you've got it made; feeling a little twinge of the Green monster now.:beerjug::beerjug::okay

Lovely, but why didn’t Kawasaki finish the job with a four into four exhaust?.

You can import a very original looking 4-4 system from Japan but i think they are over £2000 ; the 4 into one that the RS comes with; look and sound great anyway.

Which just about everyone ditched a few years ago. I'd say it pays homage to the original bike, copies certain styling clues, but is at heart a modern bike that's about half the cost of the original.

To the OP, good colours, almost as good as the Jaffa ones

Splendid. :thumb

We need to keep buying bikes, in the current climate; life is far too short. ;)

Perfic.... :drool

Health & wealth to enjoy..

Wow thanks gents! Didn’t expect such a response :beerjug:

The gap is there it’s undeniable, but in the flesh you don’t notice it, maybe because you tend to be looking at the bike from above rather than directly from the side as in the photos

I guess cost and weight eliminated the 4 into 4 exhaust but most folks junked them for a 4 into 1 back in the day so I guess that makes it sort of authentic ;). Oh and it sounds glorious

The paint looked fantastic yesterday in bright sunlight, nice and deep and very metallic, copied from the 1974 model I believe

I’ll post up some more impressions of it once I’ve had more than a half hour test ride but if you watch a few YouTube videos it has surprised a lot of testers in a very good way

The engine especially is a peach, smooth, plenty of power and surprisingly torquey for a 4 cylinder

The only negative point for the moment is that the government announced last night that all non essential shops have to close because of the Coronavirus :blast

So I guess I won’t be picking it up on Friday after all :(

Oh well, I won’t moan, a lot of folks have bigger problems than that at the moment!
