Must be the time of year...but I thought I need to clean up some of my routes. I live in a location when if recording a track, the satellites can put me in one of three roads, which means creating a route can send you off in the wrong direction at start.

I tried editing the route but can easily end up deleting all of it.

Solution:
I have found the easiest way is to create a track from your route, ‘right click on route name’, and edit the track points. You can easily delete track points too by clicking the properties pop up box. I then create a route from this.

It just seems the easiest way to do it without harming bits of the track which are fine.

Anyway, just thought I’d mention it.

Good one.
Personally I never ever use routes on the gps, if I decided to create one in Mapsource I convert to a track using WinGDB3 and simply leave it as a track without trying to route along it.
Using the gps as a map with the track as a guide allows much more flexibility (for me). :beerjug:
