The cluster effect: How social gatherings were rocket fuel for coronavirus

Interesting idea that the crisis is not a curve but a loop. Makes sense that the virus would enjoy a resurgence if social gatherings were to resume in advance of a vaccine being available.

Best thing to do is, once things calm down, contract the virus, hopefully with mild symptoms. If symptoms are bad, at least there's scope in the health system to care for you. Once that's done you should have immunity from further infection.
 
Good plan, maybe we will have "chicken pox" parties like when we were kids!

A bit of a gamble though, I don't think old BJ expected to be nearly bowled out. I wonder what made him so sick? I expect the pollution in London would not help anyone's lung function, but he looked as healthy as the rest of us (gulp!)...

It's like the Norovirus,

where the fuck does that go during the summer, and how does it start again in the winter?

Do they have a virus central, that releases viruses according to the season ?
