BORED..

Nice Fatboy. 1990. Known as the Grey Ghost. Harley made the bomb casings for the two atom bombs in Japan 1945.
1st. bomb in Hiroshima. called Fat Man. 2nd bomb in Nagasaki called Little Boy. so they called the bike Fat Boy. I've heard different reasons for the 7 yellow bits on the engine. 1st. it represents the 7 continents of the world. and 2nd the 7 rings that appear around the blast when the bomb explodes. this was the first year of that model. very nice.

I read about that but wondered if it was a bit of an urban myth? :nenau

If it’s true can’t see any modern Harley being marketed in the same way unless Trump wanted to design his own Wuhan version coloured like a cruise missile or something. :D

Urban myth....
I’ve never seen any evidence that Harley made bomb components.....and HD have always denied the story....

I think you’re probably right.

No mention of any Enola Gay or atom bomb tributes in any of the original advertising.

Oh dear God. My bike just called your bit on the side a ‘fat gauche chav’.

Funnily enough that's what my wife called me this morning when she saw me getting dressed.

...but ya can’t argue with those capacious saddlebags.....

They look like a pair of oversize snide Channel handbags from Bermondsey market.

Changed your mind on the basis of the new guidance from the bumbling idiot in charge?
