Having recently purchased a set of SW Motech Legend soft bags for the Urban I wanted to explore the option of hard cases of the peli case type.. After looking at the eye watering price of a pair of suitably sized Pali cases I decided to widen my search and came across a company called ‘The Case Farm’. Had a look at their site and the sold cases called ‘Dave Cases’ !!! Loved the name, they looked sturdy enough so for £86 for a pair, I took a punt. The solution to mount them to the SW Motech hangers came from SW Motech by way of a pair of universal side bracket for the SLC carriers. Anyway, long and short of it is that they fit, they’re the same size on both sides and they look ok...

Yep, they look good, nice job!:thumby:

How easy are they to detach, re attach?

BTW, you haven't covered your number plate............who knows what calamity might befall you now!:D

It’s ok I have a solution for that!:D

They are a piece of cake to remove, one small lever to push down and they lift straight off the mounts...:thumb

Pal of mine made some similar and they are very successful

Howsabout some more pics of the frames and the attachment mechanism? Just wondering if they might fit other frames. Please! Pretty please? :Duchess

They look like glass reinforced nylon,

if so, very light and strong, but they will fade and shed fibres eventually - years mind

Good Job! :thumb2 Many congratulations, they look absolutely perfect.

However, in order to mitigate against the panniers being readily "removed" (AKA stolen ), could the small lever be discretely locked, perhaps drilled and fitted with a padlock? :nenau

Hmmm not sure about that, have a look at the second pic above a you can see the small lever. Don’t think you’ll be able to drill it..
