No replies :-( I’ve been considering one for a year or so now, but might just take the plunge when the dealers open again.

It looks good but main reason I’ve not bought one is that it has Velcro to close the cuffs - the Velcro fails pretty quickly in regular use - if you wear it once a month it’ll be fine but use it a few times a week and the Velcro won’t last 6 months.
Every BMW jacket I’ve had the Velcro has given up way before it should, get a jacket with zips or poppers.

I have had a boulder jacket for 18 months,
It works well for me, the fit is quite roomy, i got it as an alternative to my gs dry suit,
I wanted something less adventure looking,

Would you size down then or is it ok to go with standard size? Only ask as ill be buying online.

the sizing is standard bmw,
the odd thing is i usually go for a 52 but ended up with a 50, as the 52 felt like i needed more layers, but i do like a fairly snug fit,
stick to the standard fit size you should be ok,
i have dainese stuff which is definitely a size up on what normally fits but still a close fit,
warm enough for winter might get away with a bit of summer riding, definitely waterproof,
