Timeandtide brought his lovely GS out today to have a socially distancing compliant romp around the Peak and North Staffs moors. It dawned on me that although the bikes are 30 years apart that their raison d’etre is much the same. Both are excellent, simple and a load of fun. No off road yet as my Tenere has not even had its first service and I don’t want to break it yet but a great time was had.

Yes, a very pleasant pootle and it was almost warm enough not to have the heated grips on!
Plenty of other bikes out but we managed to find some deserted lanes and roads - no caffs tho’!
