Enduroguard jacket

I have an enduroguard jacket which fits fine apart from the back protector seems too long and sits very high (almost to my neck height) creating a lump in the jacket just above my shoulders, can the back protector be adjusted or trimmed ?

What’s it like on and off the bike?

Do you think it’s worse when sitting as the jacket can ride up

I found the same in my mk2 GS Dry jacket. Ended up replacing it with a Held D30 L2 protector. XL version was about £35 delivered.

Not particularly, just seems like the back protector is too long for my body or sits too high within the jacket.

I had the same problem with a Comfortshell jacket and just cut bits off the armour until it was comfortable....don’t remember though if the excess came off the top or the bottom.

Thanks for that - I’ve had a look and can probably trim a couple of inches off one end

I cut about 2 inches off my Klim D3 back bit.

Worked a treat.

I trimmed the bottom off, rationale being that the neat bit would sit against my shoulder blades.
