Geez, I just realised it was you asking for advice on the other forum - apologies if I was a bit harsh.

.

It was very fair tbh. It's all good to get recommendations from others but at the end of the day, you were right, no one else gives a fuck what it looks like other than the wearer.

One thing that can be gathered about nutty is he clearly needs to have all the gear, whether he has an idea that's for another debate.

Cycle helmets are similar to motorcycle helmets, buy the best you can afford after doing research. Kask helmets are superb lightweight , vented ,the Kask Dieci is well good, I use one of these on the road .

+1 for Kask. I have a Mojito and the fit is excellent, best of all the bike helmets I’ve tried.

I have one of these, same colour and find it pretty good, if not earth shattering. Not cheap though.

I also have one of these and it's technically just as good.

I tried a few Fox helmets on before buying the Smith, and they just felt really flimsy in comparison.

That wasn’t harsh ;)

Will take a look at those.

Who cares what you look like, if it protects your grey matter, is comfy to wear all day long, in the colour scheme you like/want..... the rest of it.... who cares

Our Nutty is a tad vain, don’t forget !!

Nobody will even know you’re wearing it !!

And yes, I know it’s to use on the Pube emtb....

For the bicycle steed, you need:

A suitably enough Homer Simpson look, which should suit you.
