If you have so much trouble getting the rims to tubeless you could always put a heavy duty tube in the tyre and put the liquid sealant INTO the tube instead. It’s not quite as good but would solve a temporary problem. :thumb2

A final point worth mentioning is that I used Muc-Off sealant, which comes in a sachet that slips over the valves stem and it’s not easy to measure the amount going in, or stop some running out when you remove the sachet from the valve. I’m off to buy a syringe for the next time I need to add sealant.

No need, fit two thirds of the tyre with the valve at the top, pour the sealant in, rotate until the valve is at the bottom and fit the rest of the tyre. Inflate to at least 30 psi and spin the wheel. Sorted.

Fun as in a sticky mess? I think I’d only go tubeless on a bike I used regularly.

Fun as in a set mess, which if you don't peel off sticks the tube to the tyre, resulting in much swearing next time. DAMHIK
And the 5 was my regularly used bike, until I got the first Levo.
