The things you forget you’ve got.

I’d forgotten all about this, kept in the corner at the back of my least visited storage units that I’ve got to vacate. It was going to be a project when I bought, I think in 2007/8, as a non runner at a salvage auction. I got it running but can’t remember if the gearbox or shaft is fecked, also seems very oily around the final drive... I’ve used it for bits a couple times in the past... wtf do I do with it now

I also found my own old GS, used at a couple of BAKERMAN’s hograosts in the distant past - only 5000 miles, and to think I once had it up for sale on the forum as I just didn’t use it. Bloke came to buy it when it had only 4K miles on it, told me how he was going modify it and turn it into a hipsters dream... so I refused to sell it to him and decided to keep it...,, I’ll get it mot’d next week and start using it again.

I also found an old R80/7, 1978, 14k miles I bought in 1990... had an RS fairing fitted that was damaged, I took the fairing off and, well, that was all I got around to doing no pictures yet as it’s stuck in the corner a bit too well at the moment

If you decide to part out the “unfinished” GS, can I please put in a bid for the front end (wheel, forks, yolks), so I can update my ST.

    Thanks

    Bubb

I expect a supercharged 500 to be unearthed any day soon, or maybe there is a Harrison watch lurking?
