I upgraded my Triumph from part LED to full LED a while back which left me with a spare H4.
Obvious thing was to pop it in the '89 RT. Fits, lovely, well focused, loads of light.
Trouble is now that all the other bulbs look dull and yellowish.
By the looks of things I should be able to source the T4W front sidelight, P21W brake light and whatever the tail light is without too much difficulty.
I'm guessing the indicators are best not changed as the lower wattage would result in the flash rate being wrong unless I pop some resistors in too.
Has anyone done the clock/volt and instruments though? Without investigating I'm guessing the clock and volt are fairly straightforward bulbs, but the instruments have those teeny tiny ones. As they are very dull at the moment I'm not sure if the right option is to try and find LED if they are even available in that size, or just replace with original new ones.
If anyone can tell me that it's been done and which bulbs to use or alternatively that it's been tried and ended in failure, that would be great
