iptoto keeps going crazy when i connect the phone to the mac

same as the title.

Back in the day, the phone sat there happy enough, now, whatever is going on, it keeps asking for the password.

it is most infuriating.

Any ideas? Latest mac os x. This has been going on for the last good few updates.

Do you mean Photos or iPhoto? I don't think iPhoto has been updated for a few years so I'd expect problems.

If it is iPhoto, I would suggest moving to Photos and converting your iPhoto library across.
