What seat have you got on the Road King?

Police seat for solo....but....I’ve done loads of miles with the standard seat two-up touring with no complaints.....and I fit on this Dyna, with forwards and apes....

Oh yeah..and as you have a location of “Worcs”, there’s an Indian dealer with an extensive showroom just up the road from me, just outside Stourport....

Indians are not Harleys.....

Just as well buy a Kawasaki Voyager...Or Yamaha Royal Star.

Harleys are something that once you have, you have forever - or you sell in 6 months citing “ they are shit”

Everything else is just a motorbike.

Thanks, I'll take a look

Had a look at their website, not very impressed tbh. They do look a little retro Japanese cruiser, a little like the Victorys which I didn't take to either.

Going to kick the tyres on a local Roadking tomorrow, we'll see.

Best advice so far which will no doubt be ignored, but for some reason we want the poorer performing, handling, less reliable and more expensive option:blast

I kept mine for years and ran it alongside the Indian for 18 months before moving it on, shit is a bit harsh, other marques are better but don't have the badge, character or perceived kudos to some.

Regarding "everything else is just a motorbike" I would agree, for some reason HD owners say, "I went for a run on the Harley" or similar, normal people say, "I went for a run on the bike" I never did get that but it's true.

Isn’t that true!!

Then spend a fortune trying to improve

Must admit - if I bought a 114 RK - it would be the Seat - and maybe the floor board extn brackets and that’s it!!

If you could get bored of the RKS around April 2022 please......

Fatboy bars on the RKS would be my only improvement for future big trips. :)
