Fitted a Cool Cover seat cover to my bike today.

Not used it yet, cost me £65 but can buy them on eBay for £17 'ish

Seat cover is stretched high over the seat underneath, but I'm sure it'll compress under my weight, and not ping me off like a trampoline.

Do you get especially hot in the arse and gonad area? It's not something I've ever been aware of on mine but not ridden it in much over 30c

I have one on my Adv Sports, and also had them on my last two bikes. These are great when touring in hot weather as you get airflow underneath you, they also serve to keep you away from a wet seat if it's been raining.

Yours is it sitting well away from the seat in the middle though. Mine doesn't fit like that, it is in contact with the seat. You need to cinch it in across the centre section, maybe use cable ties if necessary. If it helps I can get a photo of mine from underneath.

Got to say your bike does look good :thumb

No never. I wear Marino underwear so always cool.

I bought mine for added comfort on long rides, 7 to 10 hours riding type days.

Cheers, thanks :thumb2

Photo's please :)

Actually this one was much more straightforward compared to the last two, where cable ties were needed. This was an eBay cheapie.

I agree - top bit of kit. They also raise the seat height a few mm too - which either good or bad I guess.

You do get a bit chilly in cold weather but overall, good bit of kit - and seemingly indestructible...

Ah ok, looks like yours has been pulled around more underneath.

I'll go have another look at it :D

Well I've pulled and tugged and made a bit of progress.... :beerjug:

Maybe it just needs me to sit on it for a few hours and go riding, stretch it in :aidan

It does seem to hold water like a sponge though?

That's looking a lot better, I am sure it will settle in more too. I don't find that mine holds water, probably because it's a cheap eBay version therefore made of recovered sea plastics or something.

Haha maybe I should've saved myself a small fortune and bought the eBay special :D

Hi, I keep looking at these, was the cheap eBay one specific to the Africa Twin or one of the BMW listed ones as it looks an OK fit?
Thank you

Herr Fluffmeister ordered mine (he was getting one for his GSA) but he reliably informs me that mine was the generic XL version not bike specific. Fits remarkably well to the ATAS seat though which is a mid seat, and therefore should be the same as the regular AT seat I believe.

looks like it should be on a horse :D

Got a set for my GreATASt today.
Fitted fine with no issues like Warlord but bit of a bugger to get the seat to latch down again
