I have a Sena 10S which works fine. I last updated the software/ firmware about 2.5 years ago. Yesterday I tried the partner app on my iphone and I couldnt get into settings ad it said I had to pair the headset to my phone with Bluetooth. However the headset is paired and working.

I then thought an update might solve the problem. On my mac it asked if I wished to update to Version 4.0.3 which I did.
On connecting the headset I just get failed to recognise device. Usb 1.01

I then tried it on a laptop , downloaded the Sena utility and same result “ not connected”

When i connect the unit I am plugging it in, turning the unit on and holding the phone button for 5 secs the unit then flashes blue red.

In addition I have tried four different USB cables just in case that was an issue.

It must be something simple ! Help ......

Thanks in advance guys

Steve

It can be fussy as sometimes

How are you connecting the Sena to the pc? with it powered on or off

sometimes it needs a nudge to wake things up

Try powered on and powered off .

Also check all the correct drivers are installed .

not uncommon for the two big willy wavers to do housekeeping / updates, and put there ""special"" drivers in place of all the others .

(why they can't leave the f&ck alone is beyond me)

Santa thanks for the suggestions/ I decided it must be lead , wiggled it and pushed it in really firmly , boom Roberts your uncle its all updated.

Thanks again

Steve
