Following on from an earlier thread, the latest edition of Tourenfahrer magazine 4/20 has some ideas of a tour around an area of Germany, just north of the Black Forest / a bit north-east of the Vosges, which might be of interest to some of those who have done both to death.

The route will be available on the magazine’s website as a free download shortly: https://www.alpentourer.eu/tag/gps-daten/

By happy coincidence, Motorrad Freizeit magazine 2/20 has something near enough in the same area, with three tours.

These too are downloadable, displaying in seconds in the excellent Kurviger app, using the tourcodes shown. From there, send them to your GPS or send them to BaseCamp / TomTom to amend them as you see fit.

Some kind soul even created guides on how to download the routes from both magazines:

Instant, pretty good quality, tours with little to no effort. What more could be easier or better...... and all for free, other than a little bit of your time.

Just north of Kaiserslautern, on the 421, is the village of Wolfstein.

I regularly use Hotel Königsberg on my travels north and south :thumb

Great place, excellent bier, wine, food, rooms and hospitality

My link not working!
