what year? My 97 has always done that. Has been improved considerably with shocks & fork change, and then it went back to driving a boat. Lower rubber mount broke! All good now :okay

Funnily enough.....

Last week I was talking to a mate who I hadn't seen for a while. I asked him if he still had the Dyna Wide Glide? He told me that it had started to handle like a pig due to failed engine mountings (which I hadn't heard of) and so he had got rid by trading it for a nice new Moto Guzzi .....

And get the whole thing aligned..... RTFM....:D

And stop riding it like a sports bike or GS.... things need planning on a Harley, like using the rear brake to settle it into a corner....

Serge; makes me sound almost exotic ;)

Along with 'Anders'. 'Serge and Anders' could be a high cost, west end hairdressers. I am though struggling to see you mincing about calling everybody 'darling'.

pics of top of the front mount and the bottom ..I could move the engine up quite a bit without much force with a tyre lever inserted into it

The "test" for that front engine mount is if the front pipe is less than say three cm from the frame down tube it is knackered. They suffer from oil filter changes when folk dont divert the oil from the filter. Commonly need replacing and not a difficult job if you have a standard jack.
