Apply a Small lever under the nut as you turn it, a small screwdriver should do it. Gently is the key as it doesn’t take much to bugger things up.
The lever should allow the nut to find good thread to bite.
As has been suggested. Once you get the nuts off, examine the studs. They are likely to have some good thread near the top, so you can pack the stud with washers so the nut tightens on a good portion of the stud thread. Gently, try not to use either a socket ratchet handle or spanner as this will apply too much torque and likely Snap a stud or strip a thread. Hand tight only, using a socket on a screwdriver handle if you have one, to minimise the torque force.
Good luck.

The part number for the fuel pump 16141341231. If you do a google search you will find loads of them, and they’re not expensive either.
