Not been any activity on here for a while , so who still has their G450X ?

I've just brought this one back to life...

From this pile of bits....

Nice one John, there great bikes, although you either love em or hate them. Like the clear tank, was that a standard tank? Mine's a 2011, with black tank.

Not sure if it’s a standard tank or not , I’ll have to have a look and see if I can see any part numbers on it . It also came with a brand new still in its box Safari tank

Seem to remember my tank being clear. I’d like another but they’re becoming rare in reasonable nick. Nice bike

WOW - with that fitted you have the bike the CCM Adventure wanted to be. Shame their 450 engines (same engine) is so highly stressed they have a propensity to giving up the ghost. The number of problems with them that are reported is what put me off.

Still got mine, still using it for trail riding and roadbook events. It doesn't get that hard a life but I've not had any mechanical problems with it.

I see yours has the rear Safari Tank

That's a fairly recent addition - much to my surprise they were still making them as of earlier this year. Not run it to the low fuel light yet but it should double the range.

That's the same colour as mine, minus the rear tank, .......and the mud, for the moment anyway.

Hi all,
I am in a position to buy a 2010 G450x. Its a full build similar to original posters before pics. Just wondering about availability of parts and cost of maintenance and any other things I should be a aware but taking the leap.
All info and tips welcome
Thanks
Shaun

Yep still got mine, don't use so much as got a 350husky to play with now.

Still have mine as well, didn't ride it for the past 2 years mainly due to Corona and not being allowed to travel :(

I see that there is one for sale on ebay at moment, looks decent , asking £3500.
Nothing to do with me I might add.

Just put new panels on mine as I picked a full set up cheap ;-)

In my case, it's not 'Who still has theirs' but rather 'Who just bought one?' :D

Mine's a 2008.
I bought this bike from Hex Microsystems, and it has the distinction of being one of the two bikes used by them to develop the GS-911 software programming for the G450X (the one in standard colours you see in the background is the other one). So if you use a GS-911 on your G450X, this is one of the bikes that made that usage possible.

I'm looking forward to riding it... a lot. There are literally thousands of square Km around here to be looked at.
