Guzzi Adventure bike

Right folks, here’s a challenge. Where do I start to build something like this:

But not full on Dakar race level, and using a Guzzi engine and running gear.

I’m guessing a 1000 Quota is probably a good starting point?

Go on, talk me out of it.

Quota stripped back as a starting point then see what happens from there. As you will possibly need the space I'll be happy to take the Califoria off your hands to give you a bit of room :bounce1

Yep, if it’s going to have any off road ability at all you’d have to start with the small block engine (IMO)

There was something similar for sale on ebay a few months back, the guy had built it based on a 750 Breva, looked lovely, very R80G/S like

The Baja Guzzis are very rare and go for silly money when they are offered for sale. Based on the V65 and V75 if memory serves.

Beautiful looking bikes in my opinion.
