Denali Soundbomb with RT Bracket - Does it fit?

I have fitted a Denali Soundbomb with the accompanying bracket on my 2016 RT. The screw didn't fit the mounting hole and the horn is very very close to the forks. While the horn clears when the bike is upright when under tension I can see that the forks fowling. I've tried all combinations and it just won't fit. My RT doesn't have a radio so I may just mount it in one of the speaker voids (pointing away from me of course). Curious if others have had the same problem.
