R1200GS Winglets Mouting

Hi Folks,

I have managed to purchase a set of clear winglets for my GS, they dont have the mounting fixings and i have had a look on the 'online-parts' catalogue but cant see them there as i was hoping. Can anyone advice me whats required and part numbers so i can order please?

they modified the mounting on later bikes.... the fixed early method cracks the winglets (pre 2008)... the later idea on the TC bikes (from 2009) has a larger hole in the winglet with rubber mounts and a funny washer so you do the bolt tight but leaving the winglet to move...

any owner should buy the later parts and drill the hole out on the early winglets. The hole for the charging sockets is a bit more fun.... and one should note the front headlamp / cluster subframe was modified with metal brackets beneath to make the winglets less wobbly and a substantial element to bolt the charge sockets too.

£34! for a set of fixings..

Oh well my wingnuts werent that good a deal, could of bought a set for £20 inc fixings, you live and learn..
