Can someone please explain BMW F850GS Screen Options?

Hi - would appreciate some advice on the screens available from BMW.

I’m seeking a tinted screen which is slightly (but not too much) larger than the stock clear screen.

I don’t want a height adjuster - I just want to use the stock fixings.

The BMW parts catalog page is attached - I’m thinking that the Large is between the Short and the Touring - is this correct and will it fit the stock fixings?

Yes and yes. In practice you’re best off with either a very short screen or a barn door. Otherwise you’ll experience a lot of buffeting.
Get whichever one you like the look of - in real terms there’s very little difference between them for weather protection. Or get an MRA Vario screen with the spoiler - half the price and far better
