Heading North again...

It was while we were riding along the shores of the Megget reservoir that we came across the perfect spot for a bit of wild camping. It was obvious others had camped there given the rigs of rocks used to build fires so we decided to head back into Moffat for supplies before returning for a night in the wild (which turned out to be the best nights camping of the whole trip....the coldest, but the best)... I’ll let the pics do the rest, and no we didn’t catch anything.......

So that was our last night in Scotland, from there we headed south east, mainly on motorway as we wanted to get to the Peak District for a final night under canvas. We stopped e route to get ourselves booked into the Knotlow Farm campsite where we had a lovely final evening. The bikes drew a lot of attention (as they always do) kids seem to get drawn to them and we were happy to entertain and give them some pics.. The following morning we packed up and headed home. It was during this time that I realised there may have been a bit of an issue with my bike, so much so that I stopped at my dealers on the way back to have it checked out.... There was indeed an issue but that’s another story and one that ends with me being back on a 1200 GSA with a huge grin on my face.....
