New spark plug cover on right cylinder.

Sometimes just simple upgrades make the difference..

Alloy guards hides the broken fins on the left cylinder..
That would be a reet bugger to repair..

Dear oh dear....:tears
Took oil filter off.
Must of been on some time as it's up in the sump.
Plenty of corrosion. :(
The 1 gallon container is all the oil I got out of the engine.. :mad:

Bloody hell Ash, that shows signs of neglect.
I hope the motors OK after you work your magic...

Motor seems fine.
Just enough oil, with the oil filter being full.
There was about 1.5 ltrs out of 3.6 litrs.
Still not good..

But I knew it had in my opinion been unloved..

I would have said almost condemned to death with that little oil; air cooled engines need the oil for cooling as well as lubing; anyway ; you can treat it like a refuge dog and love it to life again like you do with the others.:beerjug:
 
Got an original Guzzi silencer is you need one. Don't want any money just postage if you want it or collect from PO8 9DJ. I had a V1100 put 100K miles on it chopped it for a BMWF800GS

These are the pannier supports.
Took nearly 2 hours to coax the nuts undone
As well as the bottom silencer Allen bols off.:(

At least the gearbox & bevel box oils were good & to the correct levels..

Not much difference :)

Hepco & Becker top box rack arrived from Germany.
So with a bit of fettling it's now fitted.
Will Paint the frame during it's winter lay up..
