12 tonne Hydraulic Mini Press??

So if you purchased a press which "should" do your job okay and are basically happy with the price .....

But the bolts turned out to 4.8 instead of 8.8 ..... ALL of them

Would you replace them??

Thinking out loud here and wondering if folks would see it the same way I do ?

Only really dopey thing are no spacers on the cross beam so you have to tighten the bolts (4.8) all the way in and snug them

The beam then is fixed on the height pins (Which I have no Idea what tensile strength the pins are) and you have to loosen the bolts to change the height!

Its really quite Dinky and perfect for that smaller space

Ah, yes definitely replace with correct bolts.

That's the thing are they suitable in this application

Probably used the cheapest bolts they can get away with.

Definitely the quality of the threading of the bolts is less than desirable

Well Now????

Looks like the plates are made out of butter!!!!
