Got the green light....Thunderbirds are go!!!

That seafood in La Seu d'Urgell is worth the trip on its own.

It was rather nice. Just needed some bread and frites, or whatever the Spanish call chips. :D

I’ve never ordered chips in Spain, so don’t know the word for them.

That hotel in Fois looks rather nice.
Can’t see much veg with the main course though !! Not just Spain !

The starter had a double portion of salad

Hotel was really nice, would definitely recommend it. Plus the owner is a biker (Here’s his 1290 SA).

Ps...the Hotel du Lac did have a secure car park (I was stood in the car park for this photo - notice the gate which slides across)

However, we chose to park the bikes under cover with the owners KTM:

Thursday 23rd July.

So whilst having dinner the previous night, Rich booked our digs for tonight. We chose a Logis, as we’ve stayed in them before and always had pleasant stays...more on the hotel later.

We left Foix in glorious sunshine and continued our journey north on delightful D roads.

Cordes-Tolosannes:

A bridge (the D14) over the La Garonne:

A nice memorial at Miramont-de-Quercy:

And getting close to lunch, we stopped in Montaigu-de-Quercy and found this lovely spot:

Le Midi Bar & Restaurant:

Chicken salad was delicious (with a side order of French Fries):

So after lunch we set the Zumo XT to mildly adventurous & headed to our digs.

Welcome to the Logis Hostellerie Saint Jacques, Saint-Saud-Lacoussiere, 24470, FR.

This hotel was definitely quirky, but had a very warm/welcoming feel to it.

Whilst dining, Rich booked our digs for the Friday evening (our last one for the trip) which would see us staying at another Logis, the Hotel Arbour locates on the Mulsanne straight.

Thanks for posting Keith, looks like you've had a great holiday, even if you did have to go with Nutty. ;) :beerjug:
