That reindeer looks very like a red deer to me!

Good ride report so far.

I'm just back from a wee 280 mile jaunt to Lochinver (where I had a good coffee [Spar] but no bacon rolls anywhere. Then onward to Laxford Bridge and then down the 40 mile single track road to Lairg. Still nowhere to eat or drink open in Lairg, Bonar Bridge or Tain. Getting hungrty too now but, fortunately, the Tomich cafe, near Alness, was open and I had a bottle of ginger beer and a great roll with fried egg and two bits of Stornoway back pudding! De-li-cious!

Next week (if the weather is nice) I'll go to Durness, along to Melvich and down the Highland Clearance route to Helmsdale.

Was that nice cafe in Lairg not open, one by the water ?? Passed through there on Monday but didn't stop, I just assumed it was open.

There was a guy in a 20 plate Mclaren itching to get past up the side of Loch Shin but I refused to yield :aidan

Good grief min! I've an hour to go til tea time and you've got my belly growling like an open pipe Vincent!

Forecast for next weekend looks pretty decent, I'm very tempted to do it all again but over two nights rather than the three.
