After my first running in ride out yesterday 1250gsa I used the connected app as well. This gave me lean angle info of my ride.

I got thinking ............... for just my first ride out on a brand new bike with brand new tyres and I got 36deg, what are other riders generally getting these big bikes lent over to on public road rides with experienced pilots?

:roll:roll:roll

The only interesting angle that almost all GS’s will reach is 90.

My side stand leans my bike further than I do.

OP, you can't post this - it's been done before by all the old sweats. They'd rather hear how far you bend your bird over (not very far for non meat eaters from past experience).

Or post food, that seems to be really exciting to them.

Biggest number from yesterdays ride...

....when you consider that Jeremy McWilliams gets 58° on this with Michelin Powercup tyres, 55° is impressive or just flattering BMW software :D

Besides real GS willy wangling is how far you lean an 11xx with TKC at 22psi off-road preassure

The 55° reading was when it was over, only stopped from going more by the Wunderlich lower bar :D

Average across 350 miles was 36 right, 34 left and as I've never 'measured' it before, the info is welcome. I don't expect to 'try to beat it', as that is my normal riding pattern.

These bikes are provided with software, so no harm in using it.

A bit like living on the IOM.............

Sooner or later you are going to start timing your runs across the mountain.

Fast, faster, faster, faster.............. oops!
