With it being forecast a great day , I decided to go get the milage on my new 1250 up to needing its first service.
260 mile route planned on basecamp and successfully loaded onto my Nav6.
when I tried to find the route in the menus , it had disappeared.
well no problem I had an idea where I was going, so set off with Kirby Stephen as the goal, using all the usual bike roads, in a very roundabout way to get the milage in, had a great ride actually.
a couple of issues appeared, firstly up near Hawes a warning appeared on the TFT that the SOS button wasn't functional, and when I figured out how to clear the message the yellow warning light stayed lit, even a couple of stops with the ignition off for 5 mins didn't reset it, anyway it'll be sorted out at the service, secondly , the wonder wheel gave up being able to change the top line, fuel gauge, mileage , consumption etc. tried a few ideas out and even stopped to make sure they hadn't been unchecked in the menu and yes of course the TFT was lit, not the NAV light. But it worked in other areas in the menu and on the Nav
I also tested out my wunderlich comfort seat with the new anti sweaty bollocks netting on it, and I can report it worked quite well, thats the ebay cheapy one. I actually did 225 miles and had a great ride. so now I need to sort a few things out and get used to using the dreaded basecamp, why isn't there an option for tomtom, its so easy.
