It's a chum's 60th birthday this year & we were supposed to be going to Vegas but that's off now & we're heading to Scotland instead.
The plan is to follow the route that those 2 vets (actors) did on the Channel 4 programme from Fort George to Glenelg, using Military roads.
I've had a look at Google maps & plotted a route along the southern shore of Loch Ness which seems to be the route they took but once I turn right at Invergarry I just seem to follow the A87. I've tried to find smaller side roads running off this but can't see any.
Are the military roads marked on any current maps, does the A87 follow the military road or is it a case of seeking them out when you're there?
As usual, Thanx in advance for any help/comments.
