Using 2 wifi routers

I use 2 wifi routers. One is standard in the house the other is in another building. I simply use the second router as a bridge, an Asus 68U The second router receives the signal from the first and re transmits it. You have to log into the second router but that is OK as most computers do it automatically when the signal from the first router is lost and sees the second router.
Also I have used "power line" models with great success but they must be on the same circuit/breaker
