New seat

I have the old 1200 GSA and I suffer with little short legs. Used the Nippy Norman lowering lugs and a bit better for the legs but made the seat uncomfortable. Tried lots of different peoples seats and sort of resigned myself to spending another £350. Found an old post that said try having it up at the front and down at the back. Rode to Cornwall and back perfect and saved £350. Try this before you spend money that you do not need to.

You dont have an old GS you have a new GS,

And you cant have short legs.

the new GS is taller & wider than the old even on low settings
