1979 R80/7 Bevel Drive Question:

Folks, I've been asked to repair a stripped thread in a 1979 R80/7 bevel drive - the level plug next to the joint with the swingarm.

Question - The 24mm nut on the bevel pinion has to come off, the Haynes manual tells me the torque but I just want confirmation that its a conventional "Right-Hand Thread" before I go heating it and hitting it with the Milwaukee rattle-gun (I have the wheel attached, but I don't have the rest of the bike to fix it to).

Can someone confirm please ??

To answer my own question - Yes it IS a right-hand thread.

Nut unscrewed successfully.
