The best advice I can give is to take one out for a decent test ride and let the bike make your mind up for you. :beerjug:

I am only looking at early models due to a small budget. Around 2006 - 2010 max.

A sportsbike it ain't, but it's a pleasant ride, still has the oof to keep up with traffic and then some, and you can pick a good-condition used one up for not too much money.

how's about the absolute classic 1150GSA in the unforgettable silver colour scheme, some folk believe it's not only best, with the highest visual profile.. and has the best potential for residual value... it's also been said these bikes are the one's to own as they'll be a modern day iconic BMW...

I just so happen to have one... I'm considering parting company with... for a modest fee....
