so just to update this i was due to see bike last sat,thurs before gs in for service and to cut a long story short ended up buying a new 1250 so thats my exta cash for a harley blown!
anyway the sportster is prob not going anywhere soon so may revisit next year.

a Sportster IS sporty .....if you just got off of one of their other elephants...but off anything else ....NO .
