I have the Wunderlich handlebar raisers (20mm, from memory) & the footrest lowering kit, also 20mm.

It made a huge difference but don't forget to adjust the gear lever to a lower position, before tightening the left side footrest kit up. If you forget, you'll only have to undo it, in order to adjust it. DAMHIK..........

    Hi Chris

Nice looking bike sir. Check out....ninetowners.com....most answers can be found to most questions on there. Re suspension...speak to Simon at BikeRevival.co.uk....the Wilbers 640 road gets a good review for the r9t.

Hi P, replied to your email before reading this. Gone down the shock factory/Hyperpro route, well chuffed with the difference, and excellent value too.

Thanks, just looking at these options now, bought a shock factory unit with 24mm ride height increase, made a big difference in how the bike feels, suspension and height wise.

I put the Wunderlich lowering kit with Fastaway footpegs and a set of Unit Garage Ergo bars on my UGS (pretty sure this set up would work on yours).. Made the world of difference (although I’m not sure the bars would look good on your Pure)... My previous Urban was the classic and I fitted a set of clip ons to it.. Looked cool as hell but was uncomfortable as f**k.....

Refitted the radiator cowls after having them real carbon fibre skinned.

Crappy garage photo, but happy with the change - always thought the brushed aluminium looked odd for some reason.

Yeah, don’t want to lose the comfort aspect. Having ridden a few miles now with the increased ride height, I might go down the seat height increase route rather than lowering the pegs.
