New R1250GS 2021 coming.

They’ve already said they are bringing out a 40 year GS.

Perfect for all KLIM-wearing GSers!

Arsey there is a big call for a sporty 1250 boxer with 17" wheels and Telelever...Especially after a test-ride on a 1250R or 1250RS with the old tech forks realizing how much better T-L is ! I'lll trade my 1250GS on a M1300GS as soon as they come out if BMW does what the have done to the S1000RR...:thumb2For fancy paint-jobs in either Rally , 40 years or T-B in EU-5 , I'll pass....:D

Think there is going to be TB, new Rallye colours and 40 Year. We’ll all find out tomorrow. I’ll be at the dealer at 8.59am on Friday with cheque book.

I love BMW Boxers with Telelever and S1000RRs for the track BUT I'm not a stupid fan-boy but a realist...Asking me what we see tomorrow is a little make-up / refreshing to keep the 1250 for 2 more years...until the all new R1300 series sees the light of day at the end of 2022 for the 2023 model year that represents 100 years of BMW (Motorrad) !
The 2021 1250 will be EU-5 which hopefully will not decrease the performance as it did in 2017 when the 1200 GS went from EU-3 to EU-4 killing the mid-range...:(
I'll bet we see a few new colors as in T-B (which is nice) and 40 year GS in black/yellow as also I would think cornering LED lights , Harley turn signal taillights/blinkers ( I don't like) as also heated seat ( which is great for cold climates).
The M1300GS with 160hp/NM and 17" wheels will be off for another 2 years...That means if I don't crash the 1250GS will get 2 more years of use and save me some money trading up after only one year...All is good :thumby:

Why do you think they will keep getting larger displacement engines?

They don't normally chase the others in the market and 1200 is fine. If they could drop the weight I would take a R1000GS

Anyone seen any pics of the new range, friend is currently ordering a new 1250 GSA triple black......Dealer has already taken 12 orders apparently!

I am so excited i could crush a grape.:JB

Nice but not a completely new bike.

Nice and I’m sure plenty will want one, but not the new bike that some thought was due.
