1190 KTM Adventure
During riding bike became increasingly difficult to get into gears on upshift
Started predomanantly for a couple of days where I struggled 4th to 5th and garadually it manafested itself to where on way home sometimes several attempts were required to get up the box from as low as second to 3rd. and so on.
Any advice on where to check first would be appreciated as getting bike into dealer at present is impossible

Thanks

PS : Just oil changed using 10/40 SEmi Synth .

ok
Seems like I answered my own question re the semi synth
Last oil change was the same however and bike has been fine untill now . ?
Ill just put the full cream in tomorrow and report back

Might be worth cleaning the clutch Oil Jet as well - when I complained about the rather notchy change on my 1190 the dealer did this, did not make much odds, but they said if they get clogged it can make changes a bit shit....

...But seeing as my 1090 / 1190 and now 1290 have all head a bit of a clunky gearbox I assume "they all do that sir"

10w40 semi synth?

That is not the recommended oil at all :blast

No thats correct , however have used previously with no issues.
Fully synth ordered. Its just turned fifty thousand miles so may need a bit of spoiling this time to lubricate the old joints

Clutch slave cylinder for sure...

as has been said previously, Not allowed to call them slaves now,
it's a Clutch 'willing helper' cylinder :D :D :D
