After a couple of 100 miles days (and after a 5 year bike layoff and 15 years since I had an 1150 ) I'm loving the 1150GSA but here's what I've noticed:
1. its a lot taller than I remember. For some reason I have to clamber on rather than simply chuck a leg over
2. its got a lot heavier as well
3. I cannot, no matter how hard I heave, get it on to the centre stand
1 & 2 surely have nothing to do with me being 15 years older ....
no 3 means a wee work-around: take a wee 22mm bit of wood, roll the back wheel on to it and lift on to the centre stand as normal.
Other problem is the ease with which the next 3 months' disposable income has been spent on replacing accessories and spares ... bar risers, handlebar bag, gear indicator sensor, lock/chain ....
worth every penny.
