Happy new MTB day to me

After having my last MTB pinched from outside a local Sainsbury’s earlier this year I finally got around to replacing it.

Hard tail suits me, and for now pedal power only as I wanted a light relatively cheap bike for local Canal path routes and places like Sherwood Pines and Cannock Chase. This bike hit the price target (£1k) and it’s done very well in a couple of reviews.

For the first time I used the Cycle2work scheme through work, which for a £1k bike will give a discount of between £200 and £400 Depending on your tax status.

First impressions are good, can’t wait to try it on some trails .

The Mrs has had a Boardman for about 6 years, didn't like the colour so off it went to a local and very well renowned frame builder for a respray. He was very surprised at just how well made the frame was, it changed his view of Boardman Bikes. Great value
