Yes you heard me correctly, I am aware of lowering kits but I actually could do with some way to raise them up.

So, my missus is 4ft 7 and frankly I'm amazed she's able to get on the bike at all but on my Triumph Explorer the pegs were just barely high enough that she could reach them, and the SW Motech panniers I had sat so far out she could move around and get her feet on them somehow.

Unfortunately on the GSA she has a little more difficulty, mostly when the panniers are on. To be fair to her she did 8 days and 2600 miles around the Alps with me but she was finding that the SW Motech panniers sit a little closer to the bike than on the old one so when shes sat there she ends up having to move her feet around and somethimes rest her heels on the mounting brackets for the panniers themselves.

Has anyone successfully raised them up? Apparently it's not a major issue as she still falls asleep on the back regularly.

Lower seat?
Don't suppose she'd be able to see much then though.
Build up the pillion pegs... Like in the old days when everyone had hand-me-down pushbikes.

I have just modified a set of harley rear footpegs for the mrs to fit the GS = bigger footprint.
Harley do an adjustable footpeg kit you might be able to adapt with a simple spacer ?
Or could you turn the lowering kit upside down ??
