Sena SMH10 and the App

I'm trying to get my wife's SMH10 to connect with the manager app on an iPhone.
The Unit will pair with the phone just fine but when I open the App it just doesn't see the unit at all. I had similar issues with my 20S but having updated the firmware, all is now fine.
Unfortunately this fix didn't work for the SMH10.

Is anyone here able to use their SMH10 with the Phone app?

could be wrong but wasn't the phone app for newer models

I finally got an answer from Sena. The app uses bluetooth 4.1 but the SMH10 only has bluetooth 3.0
So basically you are right.

Odd, the app shows the SMH10 in its family,

The BT 4.0 is correct in some respects, you also need your phone to be BT4.0 or higher

I had an SMH5 that was deffo BT3 i changed it for a 30K, well worth it for voice commands
