I’ve never been keen on attaching a phone to the bike. Phones are quite delicate and are prone to damage from vibration.
Themissendenflyer (YouTube) confined this in a recent post where his phone camera was damage by the vibration causing him to have to buy a new phone at a cost of £1000.
