Next year (COVID depending) I have a ride planned to Majorca with a group of mates, no camping B&Bs all the way and covering around 150 - 200 miles (max) a day. Now I could go the easy route and jump on the GSA but I really want to do the trip on the Urban G/S.The main restriction for me is the luggage options, I’ve got the legend gear but am not a big fan, I made up some hard panniers a while back which could work and I’ve recently bought a couple of Kriega US20 bags from EvilBay. Decided that they could work quite well given I’ll be packing relatively lightly (50Ltrs in total). Only issue I’ve really encountered was the lower part of the left bag resting on the exhaust so I decided to fabricate a heat shield.. finished the basic structure this morning in the garage, needs paint and heatproof tape but I think it’ll work once it’s been tidied up...I also think the Kriega bags suit the bike better than anything else I’ve tried...
