At 110 quid I'd rather have to take it away with me everytime I go to pay for petrol :D
Have to admit it is less ugly than the usual TT stuff.

Did you fix it via RAM mount still, right?

Yes using Ram parts that came with the XT.
But TT did include fixings for a center bar on the handlebars say like a 12GS.
2 X D clips, 4 X spacers, backing plate + SS bolts...

It takes 2 seconds to remove the XT from the Garmin mount
To me i can't see the point :nenau

It makes sense for Ash as the damage to his wrists and hands means that it is much easier for him to mount the sat nav in the morning and leave it in situ all day then remove it from the cradle at days end. Numerous times on and off risk him hurting his hands or dropping the bloody gps (which is probable rather than possible).

It may seem pointless to you but for others it is worth the expense for reasons that may not occur to nor apply to you. Wouldn't it be boring if we were all the same?

Great kit, fitted easily to a centre bar (givi bracket). Pushes xt forward about 20mm. Very secure.
Ordered mine from Hermod (tt North agent) in gateshead. Plenty stock got mine in 24hrs

The only reason I bought the TT mount is because the XT mount feels so flimsy, and to run the XT with a tether you need to stick it to the rear of the case.

I put a tether on mine ( no problem to fit one at all ) ..But after a fair bit of off road use the XT mount has proved to be no problem at all
So i have come to the conclusion that Garmin have made a decent secure mont

Same here. Did quite a bit of off road on the GS with the XT, and I also temporarily fitted it to my DR, where it survived quite a few drops/small dives into bushes :D :D :D
