Attempted bike theft in Elgin

Just a warning to those in the Elgin area, whilst sat having breakfast in the Brewers Fayre in Elgin mid morning yesterday, a rider witnessed the attempted theft of his bike. He confronted the twat who made off in a white Vivaro van Reg MD17OKU.

This was in broad daylight in a busy area, bike theft is not normally a problem in this area and I hope it was just an opportunist trying his luck as opposed to more serious thieves moving in on the area.
