Not sure if this is the right place to post this but please correct me or move it if I'm wrong.

Perfect biking road off the WAW/ in Co. Clare.

Follow the R352 to Tuamgraney through to Scarriff, up the hill and take the R461 to Feakle (keeping right), Caher and going left to Killenana to the very end.
At the T junction onto the R458 turn left for 100 mts approx, then turn Left again onto the R462 towards Tulla.
Through Tulla and back onto the R352.....loop complete.

Back on the R352 turning left(East) heads you for Killaloe and the start of a lovely circumnavigation of Lough Derg.
Turning right (West) brings you to Ennis and on back to rejoin the WAW.

The above is a super biking road with more twisties than you will ever need. Do it on a fine clear day and the views are just magic. Time wise allow about 90 min including a short stop in Peppers pub in Feakle:beer: or continue to a cuppa in Tulla:jager before heading off. The above route can be done either way but West to East makes more sense if coming off the WAW.

To lengthen the route if travelling W to E, upon entering Scarriff head for Mountshannon on the R352 continuing through Whitegate all the way to Portumna. Harbour is a nice rest up area with toilets etc..
Through town and over the bridge to the N65 for a few KMs turning right onto the R493 to Terryglass, Coolbaun, Puckane turning right for Dromineer harbour on the R495 (another nice stop off) then back on the R495 towards Nenagh heading towards Portroe on the R494 continuing with the lake on your right to Ballina/Killaloe:friday (worth another stop off).
Over the bridge following the R463 around the lake all the way back to Tuamgraney and Scarriff.... another loop complete.... well done, a nice afternoons riding. :aidan

The run around Lough Derg is an underrated gem alright. Lovely day out when this lockdown is over. Nice coffee shop in Portumna too. Can’t remember the name though.
