BMW Fit for All intercom with other Sena devices

I'm trying to persuade a BMW Fit For All comms unit (made by Sena) to intercom with either a Schuberth SC1 or a Sena 10C Evo. No matter how many so-called "universal" settings I try I just cannot get a pairing between the BMW system and either of the others. All I want it to do is intercom - no phone, no satnav, zilch.

One might hope that with them all being Sena devices there might be a chance of getting this to work :bow

Has anyone had any success with this (presently for me) "Fit for nothing" system?

It's OK - I finally managed to get the SC1 talking to the BMW in "ordinary" intercom mode - they were just taking a long time to "see" each other and I was impatient :friday

From experience on the Facebook TFT group. 95% of all issues are either user error, or obsolete hardware/software

Well I have admitted to user impatience

Firmwares up to date according to the Sena app.

My iPhone is always up to date and I don't have a TFT :jager
